  • Today, prepare to experience Shanghai's dynamic spirit firsthand. The journey begins in the Pudong Area, where the soaring Shanghai Tower offers unparalleled panoramic views. The afternoon provides a tranquil contrast: wander through the classical Yu Garden and then embrace the energy of Nanjing Road and the historic Bund.

Travel Note: Please be aware that if your visit falls on a Monday, when the Shanghai Museum and Yu Garden are closed, alternative arrangements will be made to visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, Shanghai City God Temple, or the French Concession.

 

  • After a leisurely breakfast, you'll be escorted to the airport for your flight to Lhasa. Settle into the airplane and watch the scenery change as you fly west. Upon arrival in Lhasa, a driver will be waiting to greet you. You'll be escorted to your hotel so that you may settle in and rest to adjust to the altitude.

  • Today, immerse yourself in the heart of Tibetan Buddhism. The day begins with a visit to the iconic Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, you'll explore the Jokhang Temple, revered as Tibet's spiritual center. Conclude your day with a stroll through Barkhor Street, experiencing the vibrant culture and traditions of Lhasa. In the evening, a group dinner will showcase the flavors of Tibetan cuisine.
